Model and Style Photography

Style photography doesn’t mean modeling photography, in fact you don’t have to be a model at all, but a love of style that you want captured with artist imagery is really all that is required.

The Talented & Beautiful: Cindy Ollig

Cindy Ollig is both a wonderful friend and colleague that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with throughout the years. During wedding season, photographing the phenomenal and detailed work of The Perfect Petal is something I am always eager for! Cindy is the owner of this one of a kind, bold and beautiful boutique floral shop, where variety and design are the true spices of life. The lighthearted, metropolitan and chic styles of The Perfect Petal are not just fantastic and unique, but trendsetting as well. There you can find personal treasures, gifts for loved ones, and floral for occasions both intimate and grand. Cindy is an incredibly talented and BUSY woman, as she also owns Posh, a “sister store” of her floral shop. Posh is filled with an urban and chic style of home design that will both excite and inspire. If you’re in need of anything special or unique you simply must check out Posh located right on the famous Larimer Square in downtown Denver. I hope you like these portraits Cindy, see you soon! XoXo

Denver Portrait Photography: Celebrating 50!

I always love photographing beautiful and powerful women, and Rhonda is certainly both of those things! She decided to celebrate her 50th birthday this year with a photo shoot to surprise her husband with this coming October. Talk about a bombshell of a woman! WOW! I can only hope that I have such a rocking body and as amazing hair at 50, as Rhonda does. This portrait photography session with her definitely inspires me to take care of my own physical body. Thank you Rhonda for letting me help you celebrate your 50 years of youth! ;-) I loved meeting you and getting to know you through my lens. You are, without a doubt, beautiful inside and out.

Heather Allen: Table 6 Productions

Heather Allen is one of Denver’s premier wedding and event planners and the owner/president of the nationally expanding Table 6 Productions!  In fact, she has been nominated for Event Planner of the Year 2010!!  (Take a second and vote for her!)  Heather and I met about five years ago as a result of working in the same industry, but we have grown closer and closer over the years and I am proud to have her not only as a supporter of my business, but also in my life as a dear friend. It is always an honor to work with this talented woman and of course I was flattered she wanted me to take new portraits for her.  She just got this cute new haircut and it is important that she look like herself when she WINS the award!  :-)   Fingers crossed for you Heather!  And no matter what happens, keep smiling that beautiful smile of yours and know you are one of the brightest stars in the sky.

Beautiful Bonnie

I had the most wonderful situation literally fall into my lap this year, that is, I got an intern!  Miss Bonnie Silkman, currently a senior at Keene State College in New Hampshire, is the sister of one of my brides from a couple of years ago that I had stayed in touch with on Facebook.  She is interested in photography as a career choice and she asked about coming to work for me this summer.  The way things work outed once we finalized everything, I also got a roommate because it made the most sense for her to just live with me.  It was like a breath of fresh air into my life!  Bonnie did SO much for me it’s hard to even say what she “did.”  I will mention first the fact that she loved my dogs with all her heart!! She also submitted tons of my work to different wedding blogs, much of which has been or is going to be published.  She assisted me at an amazing wedding I had in Beaver Creek at the end of June (and she took some gorgeous photos herself!) as well as a couple of different engagement sessions in the Denver and Boulder area.  She organized all my contacts, helped me walk the dogs (a twice a day event), ran errands, lent an ear,  became my friend, and left after two short months, like another sister to me.  Bonnie dear, thank you for everything you brought to my life this summer!.  You have such an exciting life ahead of you.  Don’t forget to keep believing in yourself!  Hurry up and graduate and come back to CO! I love you!
