This darling little family met me through my sister’s dental practice that my studio is connected to. Michelle is one of Jesse’s dental assistants and the fourth woman at the Five Parks practice to have a baby girl in the last two years! There must be something in the water here! 
Michelle, her husband Jeremy, and their 3 year old son, Jaxon, met me at the studio and we walked around Five Parks taking some beautiful outdoor maternity and family photos for them. It’s always a challenge to work with a three year old, but Jaxon was very sweet and was not shy about the camera at all. I love his big happy expressions in the photos where daddy is tickling him. I also got to make use of the little playground’s life-size tic-tac-toe game for the first time and I absolutely adore those images! Always a big fan of x’s and o’s, they were the perfect background for a bare (& perfect) belly shot.
It’s not hard to photograph someone as beautiful as Michelle, pregnant or not! In fact, even at 8 1/2 months pregnant, I had to work with pretty extreme profile angles to even show that she has a baby in there. I love seeing woman make pregnancy look easy too. I can only hope that I will be as fortunate someday. Watching Jeremy play with Jaxon while I took some individual images of mama, it’s obvious what great parents these two are. Their baby is going to be one lucky little girl. And if Jaxon is any indication of how beautiful she is going to be, she’s going to be a 10! I can’t wait to meet her and take newborn photos soon. I think it will be really fun to watch Jaxon with her too. Kids holding babies is always something I love to photograph, carefully chaperoned, of course.
