Newborn Photography: Rooney

After Rooney’s parents got a peak of these beautiful newborn baby portraits- they had to have more!! I’m so pleased that they decided to go with my Babies’ First Year package! It’s always so exciting when couples decided to do the full year package, it’s some guaranteed baby time for me! This special photography collection is composed of mini photo-sessions that capture your little one’s fist year of life- a very rare opportunity. The package includes a total of five mini-photo sessions with you, your loved ones & of course the star of the show; your baby. I will photograph your new beautiful addition as a newborn, as well as their third, sixth, ninth and finally of course their twelfth month of life. It really is an amazing and beautiful experience & I am thrilled to photograph and capture those touching moments that can be kept for eternity. The combination of intimate photography along with a photo-journalistic style truly represents the different stages of your babies first year of life- it is both incredibly moving and memorable. All parents that have booked the Babies First Year collection with their first child, always seem to follow up and book another one with their second! Plus, it’s always great to grab some family shots of not just your baby, but you’re dogs, cats, and grandparents as well! Whoever is around for the photo-shoot will probably end up in it, that’s just the way I roll! Every baby has something different to bring to the camera, some have adorable and sleepy smiles, while others have funny cheeks and beautiful eyes! Speaking of which, I just love Rooney’s big beautiful eyes, they remind me of her Mothers! I’ve done a lot of baby photography; therefore I’ve met a good amount of babies in my day; but never a Rooney, I just love the name & how unique it is, named after her Dad’s favorite soccer player! See you all soon :) XoXo

Connor the Cutie: Denver Baby Photography

This handsome & miniature man was so sweet and precious- I just couldn’t get enough of him. However, since Katie & John decided to do my Baby’s First Year, I have the great pleasure of seeing Connor and his parents again and again! I actually met Connors parents when they hired me as their wedding photographer in 2010. It’s so rewarding when I get to witness my clients not only becoming husband & wife, but eventually loving and nuturing parents as well. That’s why I’m so happy that Connor will be doing his Baby’s First Year with me, which is a collection of mini photo-sessions that capture your little one’s fist year of life. It’s a rare opportunity and an idea that parents just love! You wouldn’t believe how fast your little one can change throughout only a matter of months, and I feel very fortunate to witness these young ones grow and develop. So of course I was thrilled when Katie & John signed up for the collection, which involves a total of five mini-photo sessions with you, your loved ones and of course the star of the show; your baby. I will photograph your new beautiful addition as a newborn, as well as their third, sixth, ninth and finally their twelfth month of life. It really is an amazing and beautiful experience & I am thrilled to photograph and capture those amazing moments that can be kept for eternity. The combination of intimate photography along with the images representing the different stages of your babies first year of life is both incredibly moving and memorable. I can’t wait for our next session little man! xoxo

Newborn Photography: Little Whitney

Ohhh newborns are so special, precious and simply adorable! I always forget how little newborns fingers, toes and features are. It’s incredible how much your baby develops and changes throughout their very first year of life. This intimate and sweet newborn photography session with Whitney sparked my baby fever! I mean, how could she not?? I always love seeing Whitney’s parents Paige and Jeff, whose fantastic Colorado wedding I photographed in 2010. This is another perfect example of the amazing developed relationships that are created throughout my career as a photographer! It’s a part of my job that I absolutely love and cherish to the fullest.  I snapped some affectionate photos of Whitney as she got cozy in her blankets and hat, occasionally sucking her cute little thumb. Can’t wait to see you again Whitney :)

Experimental Boudoir Photography: Pushing the Boundaries in Denver

“An attempt to extend the current limits of performance. To innovate, or go beyond commonly accepted boundaries,” this is the definition of a common and motivating phrase… “pushing the envelope,” is an ambition of mine that I have always fortunately carried, as my artistic appetite is always eager to push new boundaries- it is an aspiration that has successfully gotten me to where I am today as a photographer.

Boudoir photography is modern, daring, and can I just say it?- Bad Ass. That is, of course, if it’s done right. I have certainly seen my share of boudoir photos that would scare ANYONE away from the very idea. It’s a shame because boudoir photography is an incredible open opportunity to bring out the artistic, edgy and risque side of any woman’s sexy, feminine and even alternative side.

Craving a new mission, I wanted to capture images that would push boundaries and embrace the changing and evolving definition of boudoir photography. So, I lined up a model and three different venues for a full day, filled with inspiring and sensual photographs. Starting our day early at Standley Lake Park in Arvada, we captured some beautiful, soft and sexy photos- complimented by the amazing fall colors of Colorado. The outdoor and rustic atmosphere was perfect for a sexy and chic cowgirl outfit. For our next destination, we headed downtown Denver to the Westin to photograph a sexy bedroom and boardroom scene. With our privacy we were able to grab some sexy, provocative and intimate photos all over the hotel room and balcony overlooking the beautiful city. Finally for our last stop, we took over the Three Kings Tavern, a premier Denver rock bar with an alternative, funky and edgy atmosphere. With a corset, a pool table and some vintage comic books, we captured some rockin’ boudoir photos that will knock your socks off.

I cannot give enough props and thanks to my amazing, brave model/subject. She did a phenomenal job and might I say, looks like a celebrity! Simply breathtaking, I could not of done this without her, a million thanks!

This daring and experimental boudoir photo shoot is just the beginning of my new experimental, sexy photography. I am incredibly excited and satisfied with my artistic, cutting edge, and beautiful boudoir portraits. This day was incredibly gratifying and inspiring – now having even more boudoir ideas, I am ready to push that envelope! AND I will be doing just that on the eighth of January for our Valentines Day Boudoir shoot! So keep you’re eyes peeled for some new, sexy and cutting edge photos :)
