Caitlin and Dan certainly had a wedding to remember – and I was lucky enough to be there every step of the way! It’s always very special to see two wonderful and loving families come together in honor of a special couple, and that’s exactly what this day was all about. The entire day was filled with laughter and tears, both happy and sad. I’ve been excited for this couple and their big day ever since I first met Caitlin and Dan, who are both incredibly genuine, caring and fun people. We had a great time taking Caitlin & Dan’s engagement photos a couple of months ago on a beautiful fall day, and I JUST knew their wedding was going to be just as fantastic as they are.

The ceremony took place at the Montview Presbyterian Church in Park Hill, followed by the reception at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Denver. Before the ceremony, all the ladies gathered together in the hotel suite where the beautiful bride was ready to finally put on her gorgeous wedding dress. It was an incredible and emotional moment for all of us! Caitlin looked breathtaking in her elegant dress, along with the long, classic and simply beautiful veil. The bride and groom also decided to do a romantic idea of writing each other a note on the actual wedding day- I loved it! As Caitlin read Dan’s love letter I could see Caitlin’s eyes starting to tear up despite her efforts! It was another truly touching moment that I was happy to capture and photograph.

Once the bride got her fantastic Jimmy Choo heels on- it was time to get hitched! The ceremony was very beautiful, and filled with so many loving friends and family. It wasn’t hard to tell how happy everyone was for the bride and groom. Once the couple was officially announced man and wife, they took off down the aisle simply BEAMING with joy, in fact- those are some of my favorite photos of the newlyweds

After exiting the church in style (pretty sparklers everywhere!) it was time for cocktail hour and the reception at the Ritz Carlton. With a piano player, wonderful appetizers and muted metallic colors of gold, bronze, silver, copper & pewter the reception room looked incredibly elegant, along with amazing flowers from Newberry Brother’s florist. After some hilarious toasts and heartfelt hugs- the dance floor filled up with friends and family ready to celebrate!

Lauren & Nick Snow certainly know how to kick off a new year! There couldn’t be a more a romantic way to ring in 2012 than with the celebration of marriage. The guests and I were completely blown away by Lauren & Nick’s fantastic and glamorous Colorado winter wonderland wedding that took place in the Denver Cable Center on New Years Eve.

It was a perfect fit for Mr. and Mrs. Snow to be surrounded by gorgeous white frosted crystals, sparkly snow flakes, and beautiful twinkling lights on their wedding day. The entire evening was a wedding photographer’s dream…everything down to the details of the beautifully decorated invitations, the reflecting glass table tops, phenomenal centerpieces, white orchids, glass chairs and who could forget their phenomenal wintry wedding cake. With colors of cobalt blue, silver, and white, I truly felt like we were at Cinderella’s ball. Speaking of Cinderella, I was head over heels in love with Lauren’s elegant & dazzling wedding dress, as well as her beautiful hair broach and stunning matching earrings. As for her bouquet – I have NEVER seen one like Lauren’s! Created with beautiful broaches and jewels, it was simply stunning and couldn’t have been more unique.

The very special bride and groom decided to see each other before the ceremony, which was an incredibly touching moment for all of us. As Nick approached his stunning bride to be, her eyes became teary as she smiled and turned to see her handsome groom. It was very touching- even I almost lost it! Shortly after their private moment the bride & groom exchanged vows beneath a gorgeous altar on a beautifully lit white stage. After touching words were exchanged, the ceremony concluded with a romantic kiss and a dramatic dip to top it all off! Nice Nick Following the ceremony was a fabulous cocktail hour accompanied by a very talented Frank Sinatra singer. Soon enough guests were peering below the mezzanine level of the Cable Center to watch Mr. and Mrs. Snow share their very first dance. After the newlyweds took a well-deserved bow, it was time to celebrate.  Most guests were quick to grab some signature cocktails out of the fountain made of ice of course. You could take your pick of an ice blue, “Snow Queen” beverage, or the groom’s drink the “Snowman” both equally delicious.

I couldn’t help notice just how thrilled all of the guests were to be sharing their new years with one another & the Snow’s. After a couple of Snow Queen cocktails and Blue Moons we took some silly but nonetheless amazing photos of the wedding party in their bright, fun sunglasses. It was hard not to catch the new years excitement, everyone was sporting huge smiles and awesome dance moves. It wasn’t long before the party hats, glow sticks, noisemakers, feathers, banners and confetti appeared throughout the crowd when it was finally time for the NYE countdown on the big TV tower. Family and friends enjoyed their first moments of new years dancing the night away on the bright blue dance floor – even the bride decided to show us a little of her DJ skills!

The guests and I were simply whisked away by our red carpet treatment at this winter wonderland new years wedding. Thank you so much Lauren and Nick for the fabulous time and amazing photos!!
