Colorado Mountain Wedding: One of the major perks about being a Colorado Wedding Photographer is that the Frances Photography Team often gets to visit the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains to photograph weddings. I mean, people travel from all over the world to spend time in the Rocky Mountains, and we as Colorado wedding photographers get to WORK in the mountains. This wedding season, Frances Photography has had several Colorado Mountain Wedding, taking us all over the mountain ranges in Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Steamboat, etc. So, for the day, the “day in the office” looks like gorgeous mountain views, rides on gondolas, beautiful streams and lakes, peaceful sounds, and even wildlife! Sounds terrible, doesn’t it?! Here are a few of our favorite Colorado mountain wedding this wedding season:
Sarah and Shane:
Sarah and Shane’s Colorado mountain wedding was at one of our FAVORITE wedding venues of all time, Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek, CO and was photographed by Frances Marron who was assisted by her talented Associate Julie Timmer. If you haven’t had the opportunity to travel to Beano’s Cabin, we must admit that you are missing out! Beano’s Cabin is an intimate, quaint, luxurious, award-winning restaurant and event space that sits atop the slopes of Beaver Creek Resort. Beano’s is known for its amazing cuisine and spectacular location. Beano’s cabin was the perfect setting for Sarah and Shane’s Colorado mountain wedding as they both love the outdoors, skiing, and one of their favorite hobbies is trying new, delicious restaurants. No wonder they chose a venue famous for their 5-course dinners and catering for weddings! Sarah and Shane’s Colorado mountain wedding was perfect and encompassed everything that they envisioned a Colorado mountain wedding would be like. From the ski-lift ride up to the top of the mountain, colorful mountains and dozens of trees as the background for their photos, to natural running water and ponds. A few deer even made an appearance at Sarah and Shane’s reception! It was a beautiful day with some of the most gorgeous décor. Check it out for yourself!
Sarah and Shane’s wedding day would not have been possible without the amazing and talented team of vendors that worked so hard to make the day perfect. The Colorado Wedding Company ensured the day ran flawlessly and arranged the cabin so elegantly and gorgeously. The Perfect Petal beautified the entire reception area with the most incredible florals, bouquets, and centerpieces. Katy with Sugar Breck whipped up a blackberry lavender cake with white chocolate mousse & blackberry compote, vanilla butter cake with cream cheese frosting, french macaroons, chocolate chip cookies, and whoopie pies. It was dreams come true for sweets lovers!
Samantha and Jerod:
Associate Jennifer Wilder, got to soak up the mountains yet again when she photographed Samantha and Jerod’s Colorado Mountain wedding. Samantha and Jerod were married at Sapphire Point in Dillon, CO which was followed by a reception at The Lodge at Breckenridge in beautiful Breckenridge, CO. Samantha and Jerod’s Colorado mountain wedding was in the month of May, so luckily there was still snow on the mountain tops. It was a stunning view! To the Bride and Groom’s surprise, it began to lightly snow during their first look. Some of our favorite photos from the day are of Samantha and Jerod being playful with each other, while surrounded by snowflakes.
Tina and Andy:
Tina and Andy’s Colorado mountain wedding was held in Copper Mountain, CO, and was photographed by Frances Photography Associate, Jennifer Winder. Their ceremony was at Solitude Station at Copper Mountain, followed by a reception at the Grand Hall at Copper Mountain. The only way for Tina, Andy, their bridal party, and guests, to get to the ceremony location was to take a chairlift to the top of American Eagle Lift in Center Village, which offers incredible views of the Ten Mile Range. It doesn’t get much more Colorado than that! Aside from their wedding location, Tina and Andy incorporated the Colorado theme into some of their details, as well. Their cake created by Copper Mountain, imitated pine trees, topped with two outdoor travelers. Tina and Andy love going skiing when they can and actually went on their first ski trip together to Copper Mountain, so their cake topper was a special remembrance of their first trip to Copper Mountain. Here are a few of our favorite photos from Tina and Andy’s Colorado mountain wedding:
We love photographing weddings in the city of Denver, but there is just something so special about a Colorado mountain wedding. The natural, gorgeous back drops from every angle is truly a photographers dream!
