A Touch of Bliss Styled Shoot: A few weeks ago, Frances Photography had the honor of photographing a styled shoot put on by the amazing Colorado wedding planners at A Touch of Bliss. Frances Photography brought along our entire gang of amazing photographers including Owner and Lead Photographer, Frances Marron and our Associate Photographers Julie Timmer, and Jennifer Winder. It was so fun to collaborate with some of the most talented vendors in the industry!
The details at the styled shoot were beyond amazing. The styled shoot was taken place at Bliss Studios in Denver, CO and was planned by the creative and talented Sarah McGinnis with A Touch of Bliss events and wedding planning.
- Desserts: Chocolaty Bon Bons, Mint colored Macroons, and chocolate and white frosted cupcakes, provided by the incredible pastry designer Sam Keith Cake Design, we’re to die for and scored a “Perfect 10” from us in both presentation and tastiness. Sam’s true talent of pastry design showed in the blue ombre cake that she prepared for the styled shoot.
- Floral: Floral arrangements including the bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, and gorgeous floral centerpieces were created by Moonlight Iris. We loved the touch of eucalyptus included in the floral design!
- Equipment Rental and Signage/Stationary: Equipment rentals were provided by Allwell Rents Co. The gold accented plates and silverware contrasted nicely against the cobalt blue table linens and photographed, beautifully. The menus created by Free Spirit Creative added the finishing touches to the décor at the sweetheart table.
Love is in the air! Or at least, that’s how this bride and groom for-a-day made us feel! The bridal portraits came out absolutely stunning! With so many variations of backgrounds in the Bliss Studio, the flower wall provided by Mod Petal, and the graffiti wall outside the venue, we can’t even choose our favorite! The charisma of the groom and the sweetness of the bride are evident in the photos of the couple. The floral and vintage gown was provided by Blue Bridal Boutique in Denver and our bride’s up-do done by the talented Tonto Salon, finished off her look. Our groom was dressed by Men’s Warehouse and we must admit, he makes that navy suit look pretty dang good!
Food trucks are a new trend that we are seeing at weddings and the Touch of Bliss styled shoot was right on trend, with catering provided by Mountain Crust pizza. The aroma of wood-fired pizza filled the air at the styled shoot and made everyone’s stomach start to growl with hunger! The “PIZZA” sign atop the old classic sky blue truck made for gorgeous, yet playful photos.
After the styled shoot, A Touch of Bliss put on an open house for local vendors. Dance Trax Entertainment kept the partying going and was emcee for the night. Everyone in attendance really enjoyed themselves. Even our queen bee Frances, took a break from behind the camera to enjoy the festivities!
We had such a great time working with an All Star lineup! Everyone’s hard work paid off as the styled shoot was just recently published on Couture Colorado Wedding blog! Check it out here!
