Denver wedding photography bride groom downtown

How can you not fall in love with that look from this gorgeous bride’s face? The groom returns it with a hug on the waist and an equally melting and touching look on the bride as if he won the lottery.

A lot of winning elements are present in this photo, including among others, the towering downtown Denver buildings that frame the couple in this photo. Truly, symmetry does a lot of magic in wedding photography, and the artist who captured this image made use of her knowledge about symmetry and lines to create an image such as this.

It exudes an impressive urban ambiance because of the city lights and the buildings. The couple was placed in this location at the right time because there are no people walking around, ruining the moment. The gown of the bride is equally noticeable because of its long tail on the back, making her look like one of those Disney princesses.

The natural light illuminating the newlyweds should be blamed for the captivating ambiance of this image. This is certainly something you will print the moment you lay eyes on it and hang it next to your bed so you can see it the moment you wake up and before you fall asleep.

The story of the couple and wedding day ... Denver wedding photography: Grand Hyatt Denver Wedding with Stacey and Gideon: What a way to kick off 2016! This couple had me at hello. I still remember our first meeting cracking up as we talked about the save the date engagement photo we were going to take with their cats. Humor is for sure the fastest way to my heart. Stacey and Gideon's knockout wedding this past January at Grand Hyatt Denver in the Pinnacle Club will remain a favorite of the year for me. Not just because I loved this couple or because I had so much fun, but also because it was flawlessly executed and all around beautiful! Ann Marlin and her amazing team at Cloud 9 Weddings and Papers could not have done a better job. The details were to die for.

From the look on Stacey's father's face when he saw her for the first time to the first look with our dapper groom, I love it when my couples and their families and friends are so transparent and let their emotions flow without a care in the world. And Stacey was absolutely glowing- a glossy magazine page worthy picture of a classic bride. I am grateful to them for choosing me as their wedding photographer. Truly, madly, deeply. We are all in love with their images!

The ceremony was a traditional Jewish ceremony and with the city backdrop visible on three sides of the ballroom the guests had quite a view. And of course the Pinnacle club, where the dinner and dancing took place, looked incredible. The color palate of whites and creams and gold accents with succulents was ideal for a winter season wedding. Again, props to Cloud 9 Weddings for tying everything together so incredibly!

The choreographed first dance was equally as impressive and the Diamond Empire Band had the dance floor bumping all night long. A little fun fact for you-the hardest part of my job is not joining in the dancing at the reception! Ha! That said, I may have danced a "little" too ;-).

I want to extend a major thank you to not only my fabulous couple, but to both of their families and to all of their friends for being such a wonderful group to work with on this wedding. And to all of the amazing vendors, thank you! The beautiful floral was provided by A Design Resource, and the cake was provided by the Grand Hyatt.
