Dallas Destination Wedding: Kelsey and Brent are truly special people and are close friends with Frances Photography owner, Frances Marron. Frances photographed Kelsey’s older sister, Natasha and her husband’s wedding in 2009, so it was only natural that Frances would also photograph Kelsey’s special day. Frances loves working with close friends because it makes her wedding photography even more special, but the chance to work with another Biegert girl was a dream come true. Why you ask?! Colorado Mountain Wedding: One of the major perks about being a Colorado Wedding Photographer is that the Frances Photography Team often gets to visit the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains to photograph weddings. I mean, people travel from all over the world to spend time in the Rocky Mountains, and we as Colorado wedding photographers get to WORK in the mountains. This wedding season, Frances Photography has had several Colorado Mountain Wedding, taking us all over the mountain ranges in Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Steamboat, etc. So, for the day, the “day in the office” looks like gorgeous mountain views, rides on gondolas, beautiful streams and lakes, peaceful sounds, and even wildlife! MotoPhoto Adventure Tour, Italy 2016
This year, I treated myself to a giant dose of something unexpected. Other people I know have used words like “crazy, reckless, brave, stupid, naive, insane, ridiculous, bad-ass…" The list goes on. And while quite frankly there may be some truth in all of those words, I still like the word unexpected best. It was an unexpected gift- that I gave myself. In May of this year I caught wind of a trip my friend Kevin Kubota was organizing in Italy for the fall. He was planning to lead a group of photographers around Tuscany on motorcycles for a week. And while there was also an option to ride in a van with the “non-riders”, there was something about this motophoto adventure that grabbed me by somewhere deep down in my spirit an shook me awake. Admittedly, I remember thinking through a very romanticized rose-colored filter- “A week on a motorcycle driving around Tuscany?!?!
